No fluff. No marketing jargon. Just straight answers to the questions you actually care about — from someone who has helped 60+ Utah businesses rank on Google.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using scalveta.com ("the Website") and any services provided by Scalveta ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Scalveta provides digital marketing services including but not limited to: Local Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Ads management, Google Business Profile optimization, website development, citation building, review management, and related consulting services.
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any engagement will be outlined in a separate service agreement or proposal provided to the client before work begins.
3. No Guaranteed Rankings
While we employ proven strategies and best practices, we do not and cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or business results. Search engine algorithms are controlled by third parties (Google, Bing, etc.) and are subject to change at any time without notice. Any projections, estimates, or case studies shared on our website represent past results and are not guarantees of future performance.
We commit to using ethical, white-hat SEO practices that comply with search engine guidelines and to providing transparent reporting on the work we perform.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients engaging our services agree to: Provide accurate and complete business information. Grant necessary access to Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, website hosting, and other platforms as needed. Respond to reasonable requests for information, approvals, or feedback in a timely manner. Not engage in any practices that violate search engine guidelines or applicable laws.
Delays in providing access or information may impact project timelines and results.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are outlined in individual service agreements. Unless otherwise agreed: Services are billed on a monthly basis. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Late payments may result in suspension of services. All fees are non-refundable for work already completed.
We offer month-to-month arrangements with no long-term contracts unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
6. Intellectual Property
Our work product: Upon full payment, clients own the deliverables we create for them, including website content, landing pages, and marketing materials created specifically for their business.
Our tools and processes: Scalveta retains ownership of our proprietary methodologies, tools, templates, frameworks, and processes used in delivering services. These are not transferred to clients.

7. Confidentiality
We treat all client business information as confidential. We will not disclose your business data, strategies, analytics, or any proprietary information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Case studies and testimonials are only published with client approval, and we anonymize client information when requested.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scalveta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from the use of our website or services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any changes to search engine algorithms, policies, or ranking factors that may affect your search visibility, nor for any actions taken by Google or other platforms regarding your business listings.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement with 30 days written notice unless otherwise specified in the service agreement. Upon termination: We will complete any work in progress up to the termination date. The client is responsible for payment for all work completed. We will provide the client with any deliverables created during the engagement. Access credentials and accounts will be transferred back to the client.
10. Website Use
When using our website, you agree not to: Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems. Submit false or misleading information through our forms. Use our website for any unlawful purpose.
